Welcome to the Brilliant Writer’s Recipe Book! I’m so excited to have you on board. There’s lots to learn in the next few weeks!

I really want your experience in this program to be as smooth and helpful as possible, so this handy page will explain how everything works.

Keep reading to learn how to navigate this program and get the most out of the training.

How This Course is Organized

The program consists of 8 training modules:

The first two modules cover the fundamentals of writing stellar online articles, from topic selection to article structure.

The next five modules continue with 2-3 article “recipes” per module. You will learn the 10 most popular and powerful article frameworks, and apply them to your own writing.

The final module closes with “where to go from here,” how and where to use your newly developed writing skills to achieve the results you want.

During the middle part of the program, you will have the opportunity to submit your assignments for personal feedback. See your email for further instructions.

In the meantime, here is an overview of the program modules:

Why “Brilliant Writer’s Recipe Box”? Because each recipe addresses a different purpose. Find out what they are in this lesson.

Chapter 2: Goals and Habits

Chapter 3: The Perfect Dishes for YOUR Diners
A bird’s eye view of the different recipes you will be learning in this course, and how to catch readers’ attention.

Chapter 1: Article Foundations – Planning Your Article
Before you begin, you have to know where you’re going. It’s true for life, and for article-writing. Learn how to plan your article in this lesson.

Chapter 2: Headline Mastery
One of the most, if not THE most important part of writing articles is figuring out how to nail your headline. Learn what attracts readers’ attention and convinces them that yours is a dish worth tasting.

Chapter 3: Article Foundations 2 – Bookending Your Article
Like professional chefs, writers also need to learn basic universal techniques to create the most “delicious” articles. Such as how to kick off and wrap up a memorable article. Learn how to do that here.

Chapter 1: Listicles
Like popsicles, or cake pops, great listicles are loved by all, yet these types of articles can easily become boring and bland. This lesson will teach you how to create listicles worth munching.

Chapter 2: Mini-Libraries
The bigger, badder older brother of the popular Listicle is the Mini-Library. Learn the difference between the two and how to write a fantastic “library” post.

Chapter 1: How to How-to
Another staple of the online writing world is the How-to post. Like Listicles, these posts can easily be overdone and trite. Learn how to make yours stand out.

Chapter 2: Epic Guides
The Monster Post is the Hulk of the Writing Recipes, in every way. Learn how write a Monster post that can benefit both you and your readers.

Chapter 1: Illuminator
Writers are lanterns, shedding light on previously hidden knowledge for the benefit of their readers. How will you be a light?

Chapter 2: Manifestos
When done right, these are the posts that will win you the best-fit audience. They are a siren’s call to people who believe what you believe and want to support your mission.

Chapter 1: Tell Me a Story
Everybody loves a good story. In fact, we are wired to tell and listen to stories from the time we are born. How can you use this inborn preference to win fans and readers?

Chapter 2: Insider Secrets
The best way to teach someone something is to show them how it’s done.

Chapter 1: Make me Laugh
What is the secret to humor and how can you use it to delight and keep your readers?

Chapter 2: Friend-winners
To succeed, you not only need the ear of your readers, you need to tap into the circle of Influencers as well. Here’s how.

Chapter 1: Who Are You Writing For?
The skills you’ve learned in this course can be used in one of two ways. This chapter helps you strategize.

Chapter 2: Creating Your Content Calendar
Make your life easier by planning ahead. Learn how to create a suitable content calendar for your writing goals.
